1.Mâm trầu cau “mâm khởi đầu câu chuyện”
Từ cổ chí kim miếng trầu luôn khởi đầu câu chuyện kết duyên và làm nên nghĩa phu thê. Màu xanh lá trầu cùng với quả cau. Là một minh chứng cho sự hoàn hảo và một tình yêu bền chặt.
2.Mâm trái cây “hoa thơm quả ngọt”
Mâm hoa quả được kết với nhiều màu sắc ngụ ý cầu mong cho tình yêu, cuộc sống của đôi uyên ương mới sẽ ngọt ngào, tươi mới suốt cả cuộc đời. Hoặc có thể kết táo đỏ mang màu sắc may mắn vừa thể hiện sự phú quý, giàu sang và tượng trưng cho sự hòa hợp trong gia đình. Hoặc cam vàng mang ý nghĩa "Đồng cam cộng khổ"
Theo phong tục vùng miền thì sẽ trưng bày 5 loại quả khác nhau với ý nghĩa khác nhau.
3.Mâm bánh cốm –bánh phu thê –bánh kem
Bánh Phu Thê: ngụ ý chung vẫn là sự hài hòa của đất trời, âm dương đồng thuận, sự kết hợp hoàn hảo của vợ chồng.
Bánh cốm: có hình tròn là hình bầu trời, tượng trưng cho cực dương. Ngày cưới có âm, có dương sẽ tạo nên sự thịnh vượng, ấm no và hạnh phúc cho Cô Dâu Chú Rể sau này.
Bánh kem: được tiếp thu từ phương Tây và ngày nay đã góp mặt trong nghi lễ. Có ý nghĩa như là lời chúc gửi tới hai bạn trẻ thông điệp mãi mãi hạnh phúc và ngọt ngào.
